The Alecular Pro line of Tri-metal, high performance engine bearings distinguish themselves by their exceptional performance and superior tolerance control. Available for most popular racing applications, both lines feature special clearance variations for both STD. and .010" undersize crankshafts. The Alecular Pro Series is also available to .020" undersize. A significant feature of the Alecular Pro Series is macro particle (particles larger than .0004") embedability and higher load capacity. In testing, these bearings demonstrate superior resistance to flaking and deliver excellent results in circle track engines with up to 850 horse power, on both dirt and pavement. Larger, oil-borne contaminants up to .007" can be successfully embedded and held in the Alecular material, while other types of bearings could suffer scratching and severe damage. Clearly this design helps eliminate catastrophic damage and failure to both crankshaft journal and bearing.
